On Saturday, January 11, our Consulate General hosted the 122nd Korean American Day event in collaboration with Korean-American organizations in Northern California, including the San Francisco Korean American Association.
In his congratulatory address, Consul General Lim Jung-taek acknowledged the significant progress the Korean community in America has made over the past 120 years. However, he also pointed out that there is still much to be done in terms of political influence. He urged the community to actively exercise their right to vote in order to shape a brighter future for both current and future generations.
Consul General Lim also expressed hope that the newly established 33rd San Francisco Korean-American Association would continue to work towards developing the Korean community and advocating for the rights and interests of Korean residents.
